Hotel Marriott Praia d'el Rey ist fünf Sterne wert ; Lage , Pflege , Service , Küche , ShuttleService ,

Sonderlob an den guestservice, und hier besonders Michael , Luis , Tomas. Sehr angenehmer Shuttle Airport - Hotel durch Rui , die Rückfahrt zum Airport top(!) mit einem charmanten, ecxellenten und sehr gebildeten Paulo Tavares, muito obrigado auch von unseren Damen !

Die Golfplätze ( Praia d’el Rey, Royal Obidos & West Cliffs) einer schöner als der andere, top ist Westcliff von A bis Z : Lage und Design wunderschön , sehr sportlich , toll !! Da konnten wir auch den für Einheimische ungewöhnlich frühen Küstennebel, der üblicherweise erst Mitte / Ende November auftritt, verwinden. Leider sind trotz unserer und Ihrer Bemühungen die beiden wg. Erkrankung nicht gespielten Greenfee nicht erstattet worden .

We had a lovely golf holiday at The Village Praia d'el Rey.
Due to your personal and honest recommendation, we were very pleased that we changed our apartment to ‘By the Ocean’. The apartment was simply great - very spacious, clean and modern.
We enjoyed all the three courses (Praia d'el Rey, Bom Sucesso and Royal Obidos). It was very foggy at Bom Sucesso but luckily we managed to start with only a little delay and the fog got cleared afterwards.
Airport transfers were great, and the driver Paulo kindly stopped at a local supermarket for us, waited for us during our check-in and helped us carrying our luggage as well (all no extra charge. We gave him a bit of tip of course).
The check-in was smooth and shuttle service on Call worked well.
The safety box in the apartment did not work as a battery was missing. Also, we had a technical question on TV (we wanted to connect an iPhone with TV). We told these at the reception on the second day, they arranged a technical support staff, he came quickly and sorted them out, which was great.
Although there were a few minor issues with the golf shuttle which was not always on time, overall, we found the resort very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Portugal.

Last but not least we really appreciated your kind arrangement and prompt responses in our correspondences.

Back in Finland! Thanks for the arragements for our holiday. Everything was as planned. Drivers were always in time (mostly even beforehand). Hotel (Aroeira Lisbon Hotel) is nice, and their kitchen is fabulous. That feedback I already told in the restaurant.

Near AroeiraLisbon Hotel there is not much to do - but for golfers that is most of the time ok. Both golf courses (Aroeira Pines Classic and Aroeira Challenge) were also nice and roundtimes suitable. Weather was a bit rainy half of the week - but
sunshine is a thing which can never be ordered beforehand. We shall keep in touch some other time (and other golftrip).

We enjoyed our stay very much and found the hotel (Hotel Dona Filipa) to be very pleasant with helpful staff. Golf at San Lorenzo was also good with the course in better condition than many in the Algarve through the drought and backlash from Covid. The staff at San Lorenzo are doing a good job.

On behalf of myself and the guys that came along on the trip, we would like to thank you for organising such an excellent trip! The golf at Quinta da Marinha, Penha Longa and Oitavos, weather, accommodation at the Golf Villas and town of Cascais were all exceptional! My only minor gripe would be that the villas were a 5 minute minibus ride from the hotel complex. Not ideal if you decide you want go for a quick swim, coffee, snack on the spur of the moment.

That said, we would have no hesitation in approaching Portugal Golf to organise any future trips we may have in your beautiful country! Thanks again Sara!

Overall the trip went very well and all participants were more than satisfied and you did an excellent job.
- The Hotel Palácio Estoril: The hotel 9/10. Excellent hotel, room allocated were ok. Pool area, services, housekeeping etc. were very good. The dinner: 6.5/10 was very generous, quite good but anything special. Breakfast: 6.5 also good but anything special
- The golf course of Estoril: 7.5/10. Very interesting design, difficult hard greens. Nice old clubhouse but old needs reaurations especially in the restaurant and changing rooms area. 
- Oitavos: 9/10. Beautiful golf with fantastic views. Nice club house, food and drinks are very expensive.
- Penha Longa: 8.5/10. Fascinating and challenging golf, nice club house.
- Rental Clubs: Clubs and bags in good conditions, ok.
We are already thinking about our next golf trip to Portugal in Autumn 2023 and most probably we like to go back to Praya d'el Rey area.

I had a great time and really enjoyed the whole experience. The accommodation at The Hotel Palacio Estoril was exceptional - their staff were excellent, could not be more helpful - everything was great. Tiago Cruz (golf pro at Estoril) was great too and I really enjoyed all the lessons - such a knowledgeable and experienced person to work with. Also, just a really nice person.
I'll definitely look to do this experience again.

And, finally, thank you for making the whole process easy for me - much appreciated.

Thank you very much for organizing our trip for us, we enjoyed it immensely. The staff and people we met working wherever we went were amazing.
Breakfasts and dinners at the Praia d'el Rey clubhouse were very good. The villa we stayed in at The Village Praia d'el Rey was very clean and comfortable.
Room for improvement: The buffet dinners at the Marriott Tempera restaurant were disappointing.
I think people would be happy to pay more for a better supper. Praia and Obidos golf courses although very nice seemed over watered and a touch sandy.

The West Cliffs golf course was amazing, it is truly something special and was in incredibly good nick. Free Shuttle buses were great.

The stay at Dolce CampoReal was really great, very friendly staff at the clubhouse and flexible in trying to meet all our requests at the Camporeal golf course.

Would recommend it and please send me any newsletters you will publish as I am certain we will want to play again in Portugal.

The rooms at Hotel Marriott Praia d'el Rey were very nice and clean. Service was also very smiling and helping.
The only "bad note" was the noise in the dinning room at night
We know that golfers use to be speaking loudly...but I think that the architecture of the room could be better against the noise.
Praia del Rey and West Cliffs (even under the rain) were very nice to play.
