A challenging 9-hole

The pleasant design is deceptive: strategic play is required here, and the four par 4s keep golfers on their toes. At less than 4 kilometres, Quinta da Barca is not a particularly long course. The first four holes run through a pine forest, while the rest pass by the Cávado river. Some of the course's outstanding features are its undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers and three lakes, all of which add a challenge to any game.
