The 18-hole Benamor Golf Course was designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton. He was inspired by the spectacular location, just outside of Tavira, in the Algarve, and the views of both the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
Lined by indigenous olive, cork, carob, fig and almond trees, Benamor Golf offers a pleasant playing experience for golfers of all levels. The course is undulating but not hilly.
Water hazards and sand bunkers at Benamor Golf Course are located to test the strategy and striking ability of the player. The Penn A4 greens and tees are simply superb, and the fairways of Bermuda Sahara and cool-season grasses provide good lies for wood and iron shots.
