Designed by the renowned golf architect William "Rocky" Roquemore, Belas Golf Course is located in a tranquil area on the outskirts of Lisbon, Portugal.
Part of the Belas Country Club, Belas Golf Course is just a short drive away from the centre of Lisbon and Lisbon airport and offers spectacular views over the lush hills of Sintra.
A Championship course that boasts an extraordinary layout for both beginners and experienced golfers, Belas Golf Course has several fairways and greens set in deep valleys, perfectly blending in with the surrounding nature.
At Belas Golf Course, there are two holes notable for their beauty and their challenging qualities. The 2nd hole, a Par 5 called Augusta, was built in homage to the 13th hole of the famous golf course where the Masters tournament takes place, and hole number 18, a memorable Par 4 finisher, was christened "The Big Hole" because of the second stroke players must make some 180 metres from the green, which is well protected by a lake.
Belas Golf Course has received several certifications regarding sustainbility, highlighting its excellent efforts with respect to the environment.
