A relaxing atmosphere

The Terceira Island Golf Club is located a few kilometres from Angra do Heroísmo and the Vitória beach on Terceira Island, Azores.

Terceira Island Golf Club offers a unique connection with nature, with no buildings along the course and lush vegetation.

With a total length of about 6,000 metres along 18 holes, this par 72 golf course is considered the easiest to play of the three golf courses in the Azores. Nevertheless, this course is anything but boring, with wide fairways and a few bunkers that provide a lot of playing fun.

Vegetation of the Azores

The landscape of the Ilha Terceira Golf Course is fascinating, dotted with azalea and and estrelicia flowers, low hills and small lakes. A curiosity is the 70,000 cryptomeria trees which were planted along Ilha da Terceira golf course. The island is also home to many hydrangeas, which during the spring and summer months cover fields with their unique colour.
