Lot of fun to play!!
A truly impressive house in a wonderful park, Vidago Palace Hotel. Rooms, amenities, restaurant, ballroom, bars easily beyond criticism and on 5 star level.
One particular item though was beyond anything I have seen in hotels so far - SERVICE !!! -- The term “impossible” does obviously not exist in that house; all our requests, as unique, as they may have been, were met in a self-explanatory fashion, that kept us breathless.
Never before have I been so much “GUEST”.
Cuisine and wine Cellar easily match the term “terrific” and so was our formal dinner nothing else but an immaculate experience on finest standards.
The Vidago Golf course was quite challenging, pictoresque and often stunning course in fine condition, which offers you a very leisurely and entertaining round of golf with intermediate moments of extreme excitement. Lot of fun to play!!
Service and friendliness of all staff on same level as Hotel.
The hotel was fabulous
The Hotel Vidago Palace was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
When we were not happy with the first room we got as it was a little hot. The staff were most helpful and upgraded us to a better room.
The Vidago golf course was beautiful, greens were excellent. Tee boxes could do with a little maintenance.
All round great experience!
Everything was perfect
Everything was perfect! The Vidago Palace Hotel and all the golf courses, Vidago Golf Course, Estela, Oporto, Axis Ponte de Lima and Amarante.
We will surely return to this location!
Our great trip to Portugal
We are back home, after our great trip to Portugal. We have enjoyed our vacation so much, and hope to visit Portugal again some time in near future.
Thanks to your caring assistance, our vacation at Vidago Palace and Hotel Palacio Estoril was really perfect!
Thank you for everything. I am sure that on our next trip we'll be happy to contact you and enjoy your services. We intend to recommend all our golfer's friends to do that as well.
Special days at Vidago Palace
Heather and I are now enjoying Porto after 3 really special days at Vidago Palace. The hotel is amazingly elegant, the setting beautiful and the old golf course scenic, enjoyable, yet quite challenging! The highlight was the 115-meter par 3 3rd, over a creek, all carry.
Great recommendation.
Vidago was really worth experiencing
Porto itself is a lovely city with a magnificent riverside, bridges, wine cellars and a friendly atmosphere, and it was of course well known to us beforehand that there was no guarantee of abundant sunshine at this time of year. And Vidago hotel, the Vidago course and the whole environment, was really worth experiencing. It was a while since our previous trip to Portugal, and we are really looking forward to being able to visit there again.
