We loved the Dona Filipa hotel, the rooms were perfect, the meals were plentiful and delicious and the staff were always polite and helpful.

We really had a great vacation time. All was well prepared and went smoothly. The hotel quinta da marinha was the best. We loved the room ready at our arrival, the efficient transfer from the airport and to the city, the amazing and wealthy breakfast, the warm and fully equipped spa, the clean bedroom and the surroundings. The Quinta da marinha golf course was really a blast and even with the rain. We managed to play with the kids as the course managed was flexible.  
 We will be happy to come back to Portugal for golf and leisure.

Dona Filipa:
Great hotel, probably the 4th visit here, everything works. The breakfast is very good and the dinner was also very good. The room was spacious, although there was no heat from the air conditioner, but it was not freezing.

Pestana Dom Joao II:
A solid hotel where everything works. Good breakfast and excellent value for money. 

The golf courses:
They are all familiar and good. San Lorenzo is my personal favorite, restaurant is Ok. Quinta Do Lago courses are great, restaurants is good. My husband liked Pinheiros Altos, Sea Bass in golf-restaurant is very good. Vale Da Pinta is also a nice course for club players and restaurant is good.

Our stay in Lagos was really good. The position of the hotel Marina Club in Lagos is perfect. Only 5 minutes to the restaurants, the view to the marina and less than 10 minutes to reach the Palamares golf course.
I think its possible that we book next year this location again.

Our stay at Vale do Lobo was very pleasant, the golf services were very efficient and very well organised.
The appartment was very well equipped and pleasant, but very poorly soundproofed.
I was surprised by the shuttle staff. No one offered to help us, we had to manage alone with our luggage.

I had a great time staying at the Praia D'el Rey resort. The Village was a great place to stay. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed, and felt very safe. I was easily able to walk to the golf shop, restaurants, and the hotel. Housekeeping was great.
I only ate at the Clubhouse Restaurant and it was very good - both the service and the food.  The Oceanico bar at the hotel was a great place to watch soccer (futbol) and had an exceptional view of the ocean.
As for the golf, West Cliffs was my favorite but I also enjoyed Praia D'el Rey.  However, Praia D'el Rey was very wet which made it less enjoyable to play. I know the area received a lot of rain in the previous weeks but I would have expected the course to drain a little better.

Thanks again for looking after me and putting up with my constant questions about my golf clubs. You and the rest of the staff did a great job making me feel welcome.

The hotel
The Nau Morgado golf Hotel is pleasant, tidy, clean and with its surroundings it offers a pleasant stay, especially wonderful are sandy beaches.
The staff and their attitude towards the guests is beyond reproach, and the choice of food is also good and of high quality.

Golf
Salgado and Morgado golf courses are nicely arranged and pleasant to play. The staff and their attitude are professional and friendly.

Rental Clubs
The equipment is well maintained, of reasonable quality, and the delivery is punctual. A very important service for golfers from remote destinations!

We had a wonderful trip. The hotel Dona Filipa was fab, breakfast was so good and the staff were super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Both golf courses were excellent.  We had high expectation of San Lorenzo given its rating but were still impressed with the condition for mid-November.  On Pinheros Altos, we had no expectation on this course but were really impressed with how playable it was, lots of different holes but the course, again, was in a great condition.  We would definitely look to play both of these again next time we travel.

The airport transfer was perfect, signage was clear and the bus/ car was very clean – no complaints there whatsoever

I guess the only negatives (which you cannot help) is that we found the area to be quite expensive, particularly the bars and restaurants down next the Dona Felipa – more expensive than other parts of the Algarve.  And not having a shop/ supermarket nearby (walking distance) was a bit inconvenient.  But these are things you can’t do anything about.

Marina Club Lagos: The location is great it is just a minute walk over the bridge to the old town

The food is very good, good choice of products and friendly service also the restaurant is a good option for dinner  
The housekeeping is amazingly every day and has an excellent service
But is has a bad Internet connection

Room allocated: Last time we were at the Boavista resort - the standard of the accommodation is better to a much better price.

Golf Courses: We like to play all of the courses Palmares/Boavista/Espiche. All in very good condition.
Palmares with different beautiful views and all of it very reserved, means sometimes a little bit slow.
